Spaced Repetition
tags:: #a/concept on/memory Productivity flashcards
Invented by Hermann Ebbinghaus.
Remembering is a choice because of spaced repetition.
In general, a memory’s “rate of decay” slows down each time you actively recall it.
The trick to remembering is to almost forget, like training a muscle to (nearly) failure.
To make Spaced Repetition successful, your cards must be:
- Small
- Connected
- Meaningful
Basically, Evergreen Notes.
